My Action Plan

This is my five point action plan that will give me a great successful freshman year at John Carroll. First in my action plan, I will keep myself and my books organized. I will find a way that I can use to keep my books in the right place at the right time, not in my locker or at home. Second, I will try new and different things. This can help me grow into the person I want to be later in my life. Next, I will try to give my all when working, even for easy assignments. I will always do my homework and listen in class. Even though these things seem basic and easy, they matter a lot when in class and working on assignments. Last but not least, I want to have fun and keep school exciting. I want to do this because, in my opinion, if you are not having fun you are not going to do as well to succeed.

Second Day of School

Today, in Mr. Schick’s class, we reviewed our first homework assignment. I was one of the few people that had their work done and the assignment turned in around the needed time. For the first half of class, Mr. Schick was telling us that most of the students in the class did not send the site information correctly. So, we helped each other send the correct email to Mr. Schick and had our blogs checked and graded. After a little while, all of the students in the class had there blogs completed and checked. Afterwards, Mr. Schick explained to the class where and when they could find him for class questions and help. He also explained what we should do for our homework for tonight since we did not know what to do. This already seems to be a great class and I look forward to the wonderful year that lies ahead of me.

My first day

My name is Kyle Wedemeyer and this is about my first day of high school at John Carroll. I was looking forward to my upcoming freshman year, mainly meeting my new teachers, band and marching band, and volleyball. I was wondering how many faces I would recognize in my classes and how fast the day would go. My brother, Zach, drove me to school and I dropped off my instrument in the band room. My brother is an upcoming senior at John Carroll, so I knew that some teachers might be able to recognize me. Today for the first day of school, we had to go get pictures taken and listen to information. Afterwards, I had mods off so I sat with my friends in the cafeteria then went to class. It was a great first day. Tomorrow is going to be a long day because I only have one mod off, but I am will looking forward to my first JV volleyball game after school.
