presentations 2

Today we continued with presenting the power points. The group who continued with their projects first was China.
-the president of China is  Xi Jinping
-presidents serve for 8 years
-he has run for 2 years
-he can be overthrown by being impeachment, re-election, assassination.
-Xi Jinping got a total of 2937 votes for delegates voted against him, for abstained , and 38 did not vote
-On We-bio (a Chinese version of twitter) people talked about the election but then the posted comments were deleted.
-The people of China like Xi Jinping, but the government says that they do because the government watches over all the social media in china.

The next country that was presented was Canada
-Has a Parliamentary democracy, party with the greatest representation in the parliament forms the government.
- constitutional monarchy
-5 main parties in Canada
-Bloc Quebecois
-Conservation party of Canada
-Green party liberal party
-New democratic party.
-Leader of government is Prime minister Steven Harper
-Can be elected at age 18 for Prime minister
-Steven Harper is 22nd prime minister
-can stay prime minister as long as they want
-Steven Harper has been prime minister for 8 years
- can stay prime minister until they resign are dismissed or dies

The last presentation was japan
-Parliamentary system /constitutional monarchy-prime minister/ emperor
-Shinzo abe is the prime minister
-legislator vote for him
-Can be impeached, re-elected,
-Emperor Akihito
-small amount of years in power for usual prime minister
