More CIA Factbook facts

Today during human geo we continued to talk about the CIA factbook. During the class people would go up to Mr. Schick’s computer and show the facts that they found. JC found out that Antarctica did not have a military despite its open area to test weapons. On the CIA factbook it said that Antarctica had a treaty signed to prevent Antarctica from causing problems. As we talked about the possibility of nuclear test in Antarctica, MR. Schick told us about when he was a kid during the cold war. During the cold war Russia and the United States would show off the power and amount of bombs that they had. When Mr. Schick was in 2nd grade, the government made a video showing what to do if a nuclear bomb went off during their daily life. Most off the students thought that this was a dumb video since we know the effects of a nuclear bomb.
