Today in Human Geo Mr. Schick went over the power point
again, but he also showed us more information on the CIA factbook. Crude birth
rate is the number of births per 1000 people of the population. Crude death
rate is the number of death per 1000 people of the population. The rate of
natural increase is produced by subtracting the death rate from the birth rate.
Also migration is brought into this. Net migration rate is the difference
between the number of persons entering and leaving the country during a year. Some
birth rates in countries are increasing in undeveloped countries such as in
Chad, and some developed countries have low birth rates such as Germany and Japan.
China along with Germany, and Japan, has a low birth rate which is caused from
the unhealthy geography along with the pollution in the air causing multiple
people to have diseases.
