Population pyramid part 2

In Human Geo today we continued to go over the population pyramid video. In most population pyramids there is often more women than men throughout the population. Also women tend to live longer than men. There are three different stages that countries go through, these stages are pre-industrialization, industrialization, and post-industrialization. Developing countries such as Rwanda and other countries in Africa often are going through the pre-industrialization stage. After countries go through this stage they go into industrialization. This is often when the country’s economic growth is good and there population pyramid is very large. In countries such as Russia and America, the stage that they are going through is post-industrialization. This is where the countries’ population is slowly decreasing and the population pyramid is becoming well rounded. Right now I would say that the U.S is in between the industrialization and post- industrialization. I think this because the U.S.’ economy is not good and our population pyramid is now beginning to round more.
